when i was younger,i used to think that a purple monster lived under my bed,and if i put my foot on the floor,he would drag me under,so,whenever i went to the bathroom at night,i would jump off my bed,run to the bathroom, and shut and lock the bathroom door.

When I was a little girl I was be scared of the dark because I think the monster would catch my foot and traight they would kill me. One day my sister was hidding underneath my bed and when I went sleeping she caught my foot, I shouted. My sister couldn't stop laughing. Since this day I always check underneath my bed.

I believed that monsters were out to get me - but I didn't have the belief that they weren't interested in my head. I knew they would get any bit sticking out from under the covers, so I would keep my head under the covers, and form a little air channel in the blanket so I wouldn't suffocate.

When I was little I was afraid of monsters at night. I thought they would crawl out from under my bed and eat any of my body parts that were not covered up by blankets except for my head. I figured that monsters wouldn't want to eat someone's head.

When I was young, I just knew that there was some sort of monster under my bed. I am not sure what sort of beasty it was but I KNOW that it was there. I could not sleep if my feet or arms hung over the sides of the bed. If I did, 'it' would get me. Even now, decades later, I cannot bring myself to drop an arm over the side of the bed... just in case.

When i was little, i used to make sure my arms and legs wouldn't hang off the bed because i was scared that if they did, then whatever was living under my bed would grab me in my sleep

I always thought a had some kind of creature under my bed and if I didnīt hurry when I was going up in my bed it would reach out and take my legs and drag my down! Because of that I always ran through my room and jumped into my bed from about 1 meter... I fooled it everytime!

When I was little, at night when I was in bed, I was afraid to drape a body part over the edge of my bed. I was afraid that something scary would reach out and grab me.

I used to believe that there was a monster under the bed, and if you let your hand hang over the side, the monster would grab it and drag you under. Nobody would hear a thing, no matter how much you screamed and cried. I think that's why I've never fallen out of bed.

I used to think a monster lived under my bed. When I needed to get up I would stand on my bed and jump to the other side of the room so that the monster couldn't grab my ankle and pull me under.

I used to believe that when you turned off the lights in your room that the little monsters under the bed would eat your feet if you didn't get into bed fast enough. I was always first into bed, the only problem is sometimes it comes back, I'm 23 now.

I used to believe there was a monster under my bed with a really long fingernail and if I slept with my back towards the edge of the bed, he would reach up and tap me on the back with his fingernail when I slept. Needless to say, I always slept facing the edge of the bed until my teens!

When I was younger I believed that the monsters in the dark wouldn't be able to 'get me' if I was completely tucked in right up to my ears, I couldn't sleep with my limbs out of the covers no matter how warm it was!
