my dad told me if i kept biteing my nails they will build up in my stomach, it diddnt help, i just stoped swllowing them. i have a weird thing, my nails have to be the same length every day, negative side is, they are too short to cut with a cutter, my teeth do the job well.

When I was 3 or 4 i thought to go out side you had to have something white like a cigarette in your mouth. So i would try to find a colored pencil or white crayon to put in my mouth.

when my sister was little, she went through a nose-picking phase. my parents solved this by telling her that a finger-eating snail lived in her nose and that if she picked it, the snail would bite off her finger. terrified, she believed it and stopped picking her nose.

when me and my sister were young, my mom painted our nails red and told us if we kept on biting our nails we would eat the nailpolish and die. my sisters nails are now really long and pretty, but i kept on biting mine and now they're still really messed up and short.

When I was about 14 or 15 years old, my friend who was the same age told me never to smoke a cigarette down to the filter, because it would make you unable to have children later. Where did that come from???

when i was 6 i used to suck my thumb.. a lot, my mom told me if i keep sucking my thumb,i will go bald,she said thats what happens to thumb suckers.so one day at the store i saw a bald man then i shouted MOMMY THIS MAN IS BALD HE SUCKS HIS THUMB!!i was pointing at him and he gave me wierd looks and my mom was verry embarrased and told me it wasnt true she just wanted me to stop,so when i found it wasnt true,i started doing it again,except one day whn i was brushing my hair i saw alot of hair in it,so i stopped,haha!
