I thought babies came out of your navel when they were ready to be born. (Probably would have been more comfortable!)
Also, my 4 older sisters had me convinced that everytime a girl had intercourse they got pregnant.
A childhood belief about giving birth

others believed things like this
- When I was first told about intercourse, I didn't believe it. How could peeing inside a girl make a baby?— Art
- I used to believe that I was older than my brother because I was born in June and he was born in OctoberAnon
- I thought that babies were born out of your bellybutton (couldn't think of anywhere else they pop out of!)— Hattie
- i believe that if im born in december im older then people born in may— runawayfox16
- my sisters used to believe that the small seeds on strawberries made you pregnant..— ML
- I used to believe that boys had boy babies, and girls had girl babies.
That was when I was 3-7. I'm 15 now.— Stefanie Michelle
