When I was younger my grndad used to take me to villages outside canterbury on sundays after tea for an ice cream and a bottle of stella. He would tell me that we had left England and had gone to russia...I believed it...maybe I was drunk????
A childhood belief about places

others believed things like this
- I used to think that Ice Cream Sundae's you could only buy and eat on Sundays.— Lauren
- My dad would tell me that if the ice cream van was playing a tune it meant that he had no ice cream left. Duh!Anon
- I used to think that the right sides of roads are empty in England, since everyone drives on the left.Anon
- that a piece of liver in your fridge if left overnight would wrap itself around a bottle of milkAnon
- When I was about 6 or 7, I had an imaginary friend, who left for ice-cream one night. He never returned.— His name was Jimmy
- I used to beleive that my dad only had a shave on Sundays. Because he got up before me on all the other days.— roy
