when i was a kid my grandfather had false teeth and could pop them out of his mouth whenever he wanted to. then i had a great-uncle who would come to visit who had a wooden leg and would take it off and prop it against the wall while he was sitting. i believed we all had removeable parts and spent tons of time trying to pull out my teeth or pop off limbs and digits - all to no avail!
