i used to go to the bathroom as quickly as i could because i was afraid that there was a snake just sitting in the toilet pipes, waiting for me to go and that it would come out and bite my butt if i didn't get off quick enough.
this mainly came from my older cousin telling me that snakes could get into a house by any little hole or entering in the wall or pipes. and also that snakes were afraid of the dark.
