When I was atleast 5-7 years old,I decided that script or cursive writing was scribble scrabble because I couldn't understand it or read it,so I would tell my First grade teacher what script was,and we had a special writing log that we had to write and draw in every day,so I wrote that I wanted to learn how to write in script, and below it was a picture of scribble scrabble, now of course I could never translate my version or "script"
A childhood belief about classes

others believed things like this
- my friend used to believe that the swirly icing on hostess cupcakes was her name written in script ;]— Mrs. L
- I used to believe that when people wrote in cursive, they were writing in Spanish.— Ellen
- i used to believe that cursive writing was a secret language that only grown-ups could understand.— nicole
- When I was little - before we learned cursive - my sister and I called it 'real writing'. — Monty
- I could NOT understand why, if a pen worked on paper, it couldn't also write in thin air.— Can you guess what it is yet?
- I used to believe that I would one day have a dog, and I would teach him to speak, read, and even write!— Gretchen
