I used to think that if, after losing a tooth, I didn't touch the gap with the tounge or toothbrush or anything, it would grow in as a gold tooth, and that was the reason people in movies and cartoons had gold teeth. I wanted a gold tooth, but I never managed to keep my fingers out of my mouth after losing a tooth.
