I live in South Africa, and when I was 10 a black kid in my class told me about one of the "mosters" of his beliefs, that waits for you in the bathroom. The thing was called 'Pinky-Pinky', it had one but and this one arm with a really long claw on it that it uses to scratch you. Also it only went after girls. But, the thing that scared the crap out of me was that there was actually a story in a newspaper about that thing that was supposed to be true!! Since then I've always been telling myself "I can scream, someone will hear me" when I think about scary stuff.
