A childhood belief about condoms

I knew that condoms were apparati to trap semen so it doesn't go into the woman's uterus where the sperm meets the egg and that's where it begins.

However, I thought that condoms were hard plastic penis molds custom-made to make a man's penis fit snugly tight into it. It sure trapped the semen inside the hard plastic.

So we went to one of my friend's uncle's house and looked in his drawers. I was so disappointed that I couldn't find the alleged penis mold called a condom. I just saw some packets in one of the drawers, thinking they were pills. Later, my friend looked into the same drawer and yelled "BINGO! There they are!" I said to myself, "That's what a condom is? But it's so small that it can fit in that small packet!?" Was I so embarrased out of ignorance!
