when i was 4 or 5 my mother and grandmother used to tell me that when i told a lie my tounge would turn black. so i would tell a lie and then run to a mirror. i would then go ask one of them if i just told a lie why wasn't my tounge black? they said that only parents and grand parents can see it. i believed this untill i was 10
