When I was younger, about 5-years old, I was at a drug store and I saw something peculiar. They were in boxes below a sign that I could not read. To my small brain it looked like a ring-like bandaid. I thought you put it on the tip of your finger, roll it up, and it acted like a finger-glove or a tourniquet. They seemed like a childrens toy because they came in so many colors! Was I surprised when I learned to read later on in life!
