I used to believe…
for awhile (thanks to my dad) I believed that a girl got pregnant from touching a doorknob at the same time as a boy from opposite sides, when I started walking around trying to open doorknobs with my elbows, my mom noticed and asked me about it, when I said "I'm trying ot to get pregnant" - she went and found my dad and told him to "fix me". So he told me that you could get pregnant only if you drank from the same cup as a boy - I never even shared a cup with girls - just in case!
