When I was very small I had a stuffed monkey, which I loved. One day I left it on the bus and my mother couldnt get it back so she later went out and bought me a cuddly giraffe. I cried when I noticed it wasnt the monkey and my dad said that when monkeys grew up they grew into giraffes. I believed this until 5th grade when we were learnng about evolution in science.
My teacher asked:"what did apes and monkeys evolve into"?
Si put up my hand and said:"GIRAFFES" everyone teased me for months after that. I have never been able to forgive my father.
