I used to believe that your memories were kept in a file drawer in your chest. Grown-ups could always tell stories about a long time ago because they knew how to open their memory drawers. I couldn't find my handle, so I didn't have as many memories.....Funny, I still haven't found my handle and I still forget all kinds of tings...........
