I used to believe that "The Sandman" came every night, carrying a little bag of sand, shortly after I got into bed. He would wait outside the window (kindy floating like an angel). When I closed my eyes to go to sleep, he would come in and sprinkle some sand over my eyes, to help keep them shut and help me sleep better. The proof was when I woke up, there was still a little bit of the "sand" in the corners of my eyes.
