when I was a kid my parents went thru two ordealing dramas constantly, paying bills, balancing the checkbook and doing taxes, growing up I learned this was all unnecessary hype and no big thing - just a bunch of numbers addded together ,without any hesitation....
A childhood belief about work

others believed things like this
- I used to believe that numbers had gender, that the odd numbers were boys and even numbers were girls. — Evelyn
- I used to believe that you get your taxes done at the taxidermist.— Krissy
- I used to believe that as long as there were checks in the checkbook, there was money in the bank.— Michelle
- Ironically my parents were born on the same day; so growing up, I thought all parents had the same birthdays. Anon
- I used to believe that checks and credit cards allowed you to get anything you wanted with out paying for it. — Diamond
- I used to think that growing pains meant that a tomato plant was growing in your stomach.— Annette
