My sister's best friend (since high school-20 some years ago) is now a teacher with 2 sons. When her 1st son was born her hubby took literally 100+ ROLLS of film before they left the hospital. When 2nd son was born hubby was away on busines, hence there were NO ROLLS or even one picture taken at hospital. This always bothered her 2nd son and he'd bring it up every so often. The "family joke" that they had told him everytime he'd ask was... "Oh honey, we've told hundreds of times. You're an alien baby we just found you in a UFO we saw crash. They never meant to hurt his feelings, just to change his mind about dwelling on the fact his brother's baby book takes up 3 books to fit the pictures. His just one and it's 3/4 full only. Well, I guess around his tenth birthday my sister (2nd son's godmother) was called and asked to fly out to their out of state home ASAP. Seems the kid believed the Alien Baby story for reals. My sister flew out there to assure him he was born here. She brought the one picture taken at the hospital of her holding him the day he was born. Scary isn't it?
