When I was about 8, at my church, this 16-year-old girl got pregnant. My parents told me that it was because she was bad. I had said "So if you aren't a grown-up and you are mean, you get babies?" and they had told me yes. So until I was about 10-11, I believed that if you were mean and hateful and talked bad about your siblings etc., God would punish you with a baby.
