When I was little, my parents would get me to go to bed by calling it "Mrs. White's Party" I can't believe I fell for that more than once; I believed that there was a Mrs. White (actually the sheets), and she had me spirited away to a party after I fell asleep. I believed that she waved a wand or something to make me forget there hadn't been a party.
