One day at a restaurant, my brother misunderstood our family discussion about snorting coke (we thought it was a funny concept).
He tried inhaling his Pepsi through the straw into his nose, and then proceeded to sneeze pepsi-snot on the tablecloth!
A childhood belief about drinks

others believed things like this
- when I was little, I called coke and pepsi "Black Juice"— can I have a refil on the black juice?
- i used to believe the proverbial "straw that broke the camels back" was a drinking straw. sadly, i was 23. — jennie kay
- I used to think that if you didn't blow your nose and just sniffed the snot up, you head would blow up.Anon
- When I first saw a picture of the human anatomy, I thought the brain was really snot.Anon
- Through second grade I always concluded the pledge with '...indivisible, with liberty and just a straw.'— George
- I used to beleive that a straw would float in soda because a little invisible elf would hold it up.— Mike
