A childhood belief about around the house

When I was about five, after watching The Brave Little Toaster, I was convinced everything (as in appliances and furniture) could talk and walk and things but ONLY when the people went to bed. I'd always feel bad if i choose to sit on one chair, because i thought the others would feel left out. I still catch my self trying to catch a glimpse of them at night!
