We are from a small small town. No big buildings, farmer/ hick town. One day, on an emergency road trip to the city, my 9 year old brother looked out of the car window and exlaimed," LOOK, BUILDINGS!!!!" That's when I decided, we needed to get out of there.
A childhood belief about in the street

others believed things like this
- i used to believe that scaffolding was used to support buildings when they were having work on them.Anon
- I used to think 'To Let' on disused office buildings meant they were big toilets.— Tracey
- I once thought people would keep growing until they were as big as buildings if they didn't go to the doctor. — Tufty
- I thought the "To Let" signs on buildings meant they were public toilets.— Scottish Laddie
- I always thought thunder was the sound of the crumbling buildings, after lightning had struck them.Anon
- When I was small, my brother would bug me and say that if my hand was bigger than my head, I had a tumor.Anon
