I used to believe the song lyrics from Eiffel 65's song Blue went :
I'm blue da-ba-dee-da-ba-di
If I was green I would die da-ba-dee-da-ba-di
Aberdeen are so shite da-ba-de-dee-da-ba-di
If I was green I would die da-ba-dee-da-ba-di
Yeah, the first line was right. I think the lyrics can be attributed to the fact that my family are Rangers Football Club supporters, and I heard my uncle singing the song, so when I heard it on the radio, I naturally assumed my uncle's lyrics were the correct ones. How wrong I was.
I also got into trouble singing it at my school disco. It was at Primary school, and there were Celtic supporters (i.e the green half of Glasgow).
Massive footballing rivalries such as Rangers v Celtic always cause a lot of fighting, thank God my singing didn't cause some.
