i used to beleive that in a bad thunder storm, the thunder was the sound of nearby buildings crashing to the ground after being hit by lightning. I would just wait for it to hit and destroy our building, but after the storm ended, and I had a chance to servey the neighborhood, all the buildings seemed to be ok. So where did that big crashing sound come from?
