After questioning my grandfather on why he had a gold tooth, he claimed he never licked the hole in his mouth after he lost a baby tooth and it grew in that way. For the rest of my childhood I tried to abstain from licking so I would have a full mouth of golden teeth. However, I always gave in and hid in the bathroom because i thought that if noone saw it, it might still work.
