When I was about 8 I joined the new brownies that had been set up. Me and a few other people were going to be the first people to get enrolled there. I told this to a friend who went to another brownies and had been there for a long time and she said that being enrolled was really scary. For a while after I, for some strange reason, imagined that being enrolled consisted of being rolled up into a rug, and then the BrownOwl shook it so you rolled out. As you rolled a long the floor to the other side of the hall you would shout your brownie promice in fear.
Luckily it was nothing like that.
