when i was 8 i was talking to a friend about periods and he said he asked his mom and she said "that's girl stuff" so i thought that a period was when girls do "girl stuff" like play with dolls and talk on the phone for a long time. one day my friend (different one) told me to call him after school and i said "i cant, my mom's probably on her period"
