Yesterday our family was watching the Seinfeld episode "The Pothole." At the end, Newman was singing "You're once, twice, three times a lady" when his truck burst into flames. After the episode was finished, my brother (17 years old) was replaying it in his mind and sang, "You're once, twice, three times later."
A childhood belief about misheard lyrics

others believed things like this
- I thought God looked a little like Newman from SeinfeldAnon
- I used to think that "One, two, three times a lady"
was: "one, two, three times related"Anon - My Brother used to think that Chris de Burgh was singing 'Lady in bed' instead of lady in red'— Kerry, Manchester
- When i was a kid, i thought that nematodes would eat our house like in one episode of SpongeBobAnon
- I used to believe the tv serie "Doctor Who" was a spin off from James Bond... (until I saw an episode)Anon
- I wanted to grow up and be a truck. Not a truck driver, a truck. Anon
