When I was little my older brother told me that boy's penises were just like the garden hose & they could be as long or as short as they wanted. He told me he could coil his up inside of him or just pull it out when he needed to. I looked through my mom's book "The ABC's Of The Human Body" over and over again to see if I could find a picture of a uncoiled penis!!
