Two summers ago, 2006, a girl from Belarus came for six weeks through a charity (chernobylkidslondon.com). Anyways, we went to a belarussian store and she bouht a bag of - can you geuss?- whole dried fish. With the eyes and everything. I was terribly disgusted, just by the fact that she was eating dried fish like candy, and the fact that I thought she was going to choke and die from the bones and skull. Probably from when I choked on a fish bone, and the fact that I could hear her crunching on them. Needless to say, I always kept an eye out for her choking when she ate the stuff.
