My older sister told me that hamsters could fly. I remember looking at my hamster when i was about 6 and seeing his small legs and wondering how he could fly with legs that small-and eventually convinced myself that they would become flat and thin when he began to fly. I found out that they couldn't fly when my hamster (who was old and blind by that point) walked off the edge of the table.
