I lived in Spain when I was young and went to an international school. Every day at lunch we had to say grace which began with 'Let us Pray' and there was always a plate of salad in front of us. One day I was sent home from school because I refused to say the words for the lettuces (Letuspray...lettuces)....
A childhood belief about speaking

others believed things like this
- I used to believe that my school teachers lived inside the school and my school bus driver lived on the bus. Anon
- When I was in elementary school I use to think that teacher lived at school at their desks all year long.Anon
- when i first started school i thought the teachers lived in the school and slept on the tables.— emma
- I used to think that my teacher lived at school until she came to school late one day. I was shocked!— Wow, you have a life?!
- I used to think that if I was home sick that no one else could go to school either. (it was MY school)— kirk
- there was a young girl i used to know that would say 'onion' at the end of grace, instead of 'amen'— matt
