Recently my sister told me that in Fallout Boy's 'The Take Over The Break's Over' lyrics were actually 'Flash flash flash, photography', not 'Scratch scratch scratch, for tiger-people'. We both though that was pretty funny.
A childhood belief about misheard lyrics

others believed things like this
- I used to think that when you made food 'from scratch', that scratch was an ingredient like starch.— Aynsleigh
- I used to believe that I could make a laser by putting more batteries in a flash light.— Tyler
- I used to believe that if I scratched one side of my body I had to
scratch the other to be "even".— Greg - I used to believe that when I used up all the sheets in my desk scratch pad, I would be married.— Barb
- I used to believe making a cake from scratch meant using a box mix rather than buying a cake from the store.— EZ
- I used to think a tiger was a female and a lion was a male... until I remembered Tony the Tiger.— Alysia
