A friend of the family had a gold tooth. I asked her how she got it. She said that when your tooth falls out, if you don't stick your tongue in the hole, your new tooth will be gold. Shortly after that, I lost my first tooth. I was very vigilant about not sticking my tongue in the hole where my tooth had been. But one day, without thinking, I stuck my tongue in the tooth hole. I was so disappointed knowing that now, I would never have a gold tooth.
