well... when I was around 6 or 7 years old I used to believe that only men had hair that grew on their bodies. Imagine
my surprise when at age 10 or 11 some other kids I was playing with, in thicket near a small creek (no pun intended), unearthed a worn "nudie" magazine they kept buried ! I thought the crotch areas of the ladies were smudged with dirt, at first. That was when the bubble bursted and my reality changed to accomodate this new information. This was in the early 70's when the hippie culture was in full bloom and being "natural" (hirsute in a hair suit) was "in". But I never liked it because it shocked me from what I had imagined prior to that, was the norm... that women were smooth as babies all over except the eyebrows, eye lashes and luxurious heads of hair. I am so glad that the trend toward women shaving down there and elsewhere has become "in fashion".
