When I was about 5 or 6, my dad told me that if I didn't want my nose to stretch out that I should pinch it and it will stop the growing. So as often as I could I would pinch it and sometimes even put a clothespin on it. Eventually I learned, but now when I yawn, since my nostrils flare when I do, I pinch my nose out of habit, and maybe with a bit of hope it will work.
