When I was a child, I believed that fairies were butterflies.
I was 2 or t3 years old and I went on vacation with my mother and her best friend to the Broceliandre forest. They told me fantastic stories about the forest and its fairies, creatures, and magicians… And I don't know why, but I believed that fairies transformed into butterflies.
I tried to catch a butterfly to see a fairy transform, but I never succeeded.
At the end of the vacation, my mother explained to me that fairies didn't exist and that it was just a legend… I was very disappointed.
