On my first day of Kindergarten (or maybe it was first grade) some of the kids
were really homesick and missing their mother. The teacher said to one kid:
"Go look out the classroom door and you will see your Mom"
"WOW!! I thought, A MAGIC WINDOW that let you see your Mom from school!"
Much later it dawned on me that this mom probably predicted her kid's behavior
and hung around to comfort him..
A childhood belief about classes

others believed things like this
- A[n] nth grade teacher only had to finish the nth grade when he or she was in school.— MD Caruso
- When I was in kindergarten, I used to believe that they locked the teacher's in the teacher's lounge at night.Anon
- I used to wonder why fortune cookies never predicted something bad like "you will fall off a cliff"— Izual
- My mom used to tell us kids that if you put your arm out of the car window, that it would fall off.— Kathy G.
- When I was in elementary school I use to think that teacher lived at school at their desks all year long.Anon
- I used to think that my teacher lived at school until she came to school late one day. I was shocked!— Wow, you have a life?!
