I was eating with my best friend once when I was 9, and she pointed to my plate and said that my food would turn into poop after a while. So I scraped all of my food into a pile on my plate, and left in there for a while, waiting for it to turn into poop right there on my plate. I never happened, and I was mad at her for lying.

My auntie used to have a dog and whenever i went to her house, there'd usually be some dog poo in the back yard. Some of it was white because it was old or something. However, i thought that the white poo's were actually pee.

I use to believe that the sound of my dad snoring was actually a jar of lollies in the kitchen that would rattle through out the night. I would lie awake thinking about these lollies - i even thought i knew where they where kept. Each morning I would look for them and was very confused as they where never there. very strange

My brother and I used to think that the only thing you had to do to be able to fly was have feathers. So we would hold a feather pillow in each of our hands and take turns jumping off the couch and flapping our arms.

This is a very strange one, I will be surprised and somewhat relieved if anyone else believed this.
In elementary school I thought that people's spit had a specific smell and that if I drank from the same cup or if someone accidentally spit on me while talking my spit would smell like theirs.

When I was a young girl, around 3 or 4, I told my mother I had a stomach ache, and my mother told me because I had a monster in my stomach, so I would always imagine a little tiny monster inside my tummy when I had a belly ache. I'll never forget that. =)

When I was a nine year old little kid, on car trips and felt the need to have a pee really bad my parents would let me pee in a bottle (I know I'm a girl but if you get it in the right position you can get it all in - even through a fly zip, it works!)
At school, the toilets were closed, and I had drunk a bottle of cola. My mom used to say, "Charlotte, we're both teachers, so if we let you do something your school should too." I was standing in the school yard when all of a sudden I felt a tingle in my "girly bits" - I was full of pee! To the teachers' horror, I unzipped my school trousers and felt the sweet, sweet relief of peeing.
The teachers were not impressed with Charlotte at nine...

You know how sometimes you have a dream but you can't tell if it was a dream or ture? Well, when I was younger I dreamt that a Barbie Doll Convertable Car with and evil Barbie and Ken came driving by and tried to run over me when I had fallen on the floor. I was always scared to hang my hand down the side of my bed after that and I actually still am to this day. I know it's not real, but if I imagine it hard enough, I can think that the evil Barbie Car is actually under my bed waiting to attack me. And I'm 19!!!

When I was in the 4th Grade, my friend and I thought we had magical powers because we had looked up spells on the internet, found on for making it rain, chanted it outside at recess, and of course it started to rain. From that point on we tried many other spells(like giving our teacher the mind of a frog, and so on..) We were totally convinced we were magic.

When I was about 7, I would always hang out at my cousins house on the weekends, and (Im not sure why) I belived that (little) Chinese people lived in my butt. Whenever I farted, I would say,"Hey! there shooting fireworks again! I wish I could see them!"

until i was around 12, i used to belive that whenever i was too full, i meant that there was not enough space in my stomach for me to store anymore food...and if i continued eating, food will overflow from my stomach and into my throat, finally coming out of my mouth.

When my daughter was really little, 3 or so, she was strapped into her car seat in the back of our SUV. I noticed she was having a pretty bad case of gas and I asked aloud, "Where is all your gas coming from?" Never expecting an answer I just about fell over when a tiny voice from the rear answered, "I dunno. The gas station?"
