I used to think tampons are plugs for uncontrollable urnating for womens because I always see my mom putting it in on while sitting on a toilet seat. I thought she was just plugging her pee hole cuz she was contsantly peeing for a very long time and doesnt have time to empty her very large bladder.

When my (much) younger sister was six or so, I made some sort of comment to her about food turning into poo. She looked confused, and I said "When you eat food, it goes though your body and comes out as poo. Didn't you know that?"
She looked confused.
"Where did you think poo came from?"
She admitted that she thought a machine came into her room at night and "put poo up my bum for the next day."
I have >no< idea where she got that idea, but you can bet I'm going to mention it at her wedding reception.
I used to think that the chicken pox were a group of chickens that went door to door to visit every kid before they grew up. I also thought that the chickens would peck your skin and that is what made the red marks.

When I was 6 I thought the reason my poop was brown was because I had brown skin. It seemed logical since the dalmation down the street pooped white.

When I used to have stomach aches, my grandmother would tell me it was because I slept with my blankets off and air got into by belly button making my stomach hurt. To this day even when it is 90 degrees in the room, I sleep with a tiny part of the blanket covering just my stomach.

I was just a little confused when I was about six years old. I was having trouble "poo-ing," and after trying for what seemed like forever I ran to the living room where I cried "Mom, I'm COMPLICATED!" When she had figured out what I was talking about (and the laughter subsided) she explained to me that the words was constipated.. not complicated.
I used to believe that if you farted when it was cold it would look green instead of the normal steam that your breath makes.
I used to believe that if someone peed in the toilet and didn't flush it, then you peed in the same toilet, the two kinds of pee would mix and create a horrible toilet monster that would try to eat you.

When I was little I used to think that there were little men constantly working in my body to create my poop. They would have lunch breaks but they would never sleep....just constantly make poop. And I used to wonder how they got that job and if you can get that job when you get older......

When I was in highscool I had almost the entire school beleiving I could control events. One of my friends always feared that he was going to fail an upcoming test and would ask me to postpone the test. I told him that in order for the test to be postponed he would need to eat a slice of pizza by stuffing it into his mouth without biting it. Amazingly enough the test was postponed and I gained the nick name "Kapn Kaos". To this day I use this nick name in mmo games and forums as my screen name.
I used to beleive that you shouldn't drink too much water before going to bed because if you did, the water level in your body would be too high and would get passed your neck and that would short circuit your brain.

When I was younger my brothers used to tell me if I pressed the circle on the bottom of my Nike sneakers jets would come out and I could fly. They told me not to do it though because I might crash.

When I was young I used to believe that saying "excuse me" after passing gas made the smell go away so I would say it repeatedly after farting with the hope that no one would smell it before the words made it go away.

When I was little, I always heard that if someone choked or coughed while eating, it was because food 'went down the wrong tube'. As a result, I believed that in peoples' mouths, just past where you could see in the mirror, were three different tubes leading to the stomach: the food tube, the drink tube, and the wrong tube. I even envisioned little plaques above the opening to each, labeling them so whatever I put in my mouth knew which tube to use.
