I used to believe that before each dream.... little people in my head would move plugs around and put them into different outlets so i had exactly the right dream. Why I thought little people were in my head, who knows.....

My little sister got all the hand-me-downs so sometimes her pants had a hole in the crotch. if we ever caught her farting we would tell her to stop because she would blow a hole in her pants. she seemed to believe us.
I used to believe that Superman got his powers from wearing a cape. Anyway, that's why I was always tying a beach towel around my neck and running around the house like a crazy person.
I used to believe (from watching films, I guess) that if you wanted to be good at martial arts all you had to do was make the sounds like 'Hai!' when you fought someone. My cousin set me straight when we were playfighting finally, but no-one (not even him) ever knew that that was why I was doing it.
I never realised that you could breathe through your nose, until I saw my dad breathing without opening his mouth. I was really shocked and exclaimed, and everyone just looked at me confused.
Years later, my orthodontist said that I breathed through my mouth an abnormal amount. I always figured that was the reason.
I used to believe that if I pulled on my shorts upwards, that I could lift off the ground and hover. I actually believed this so hard I have memories of hovering above the ground as real as any of my other memories from that age (below 6).

When I was little and told my parents I was full from dinner, they would tell me to open my mouth, look in it, and then say, "no your not." I used to think there were these little jars in the back of my mouth that would fill up and tell them if I was full or not.

When i was a kid.. i used to think that i had little fridges in my stomach each that could hold 1 type of food.. and when that fridge was full you couldnt eat any more of that type but you can eat anything else ..
for example if we were having french fries and beans n i couldnt have anymore beans id tell my mom i couldnt eat any more, but when i still ate the fries shed ask why and id tell her my beans fridge is full, but my fries fridge can still hold more.

I used to take tennis rackets and tape cardboard paper feathers on them and then I would flap them really hard and try and fly. Since I did this in the front yard, it certainly amused the neighbors.
