One day, when I was 11 and my brother was 8, he suddenly got appendicitis at about 3 in the morning and had to be rushed to the hospital for an appendectomy. My parents explained to me that if he didn't have this done, then his appendix would rupture inside him, to which I said, "Wow, I hope the doctors throw the appendix far, FAR away from here, so it doesn't go off inside and blow up the hospital!!!" I actually thought that my brother's appendix could still explode once it was out of him, sort of like a bomb. My parents explained to me that this wasn't the case. I was a very strange kid, lol.

Well I was about 5y.o when I took my sisters baby blanket and tied it around my neck. I believed if Batman Could fly I could.

I'm 42 and still rememberm it.

When I was younger I used to think that when someone said, "He is going to the gas chamber" that the "gas" was farts. I envisioned a bunch of people pressing there butts into holes in the wall and expelling gas. The gas was either bottled or the "victim" was in the room while the gas was being expelled. I now know the real meaning of the saying, but I still get a laugh out of my original thought.

I used to think if you grabbed onto something hard enough in your dreams, you could wake up with it in your grip.

For weeks I would dream of things, bear hug them or grip them as hard as possible and when I woke up, I would search the bed to see if I was able to bring them into the real world with me.

i used to think that if you burped in a bottle, then opened it, you would hear the burp! i tried until i was like 7 years old, when my cousin (the one who convinced me that i could do it)told me he made it up! i was very mad!!!

MY UNCLE MADE BE BELIEVE THAT I HAD AN INVISABLE EAR ON THE TOP OF MY HEAD SO I COULD HEAR WHAT PEOPLE WERE THINKING!

I remember when my sister was about 5, she would not fart in the tub. She thought that it would form a smelly-film on top of the water that would kling to every inch of your body when you were ready to get out of the tub.

When I was about 10 years old I used to believe that if I stared directly at the sun I would get some kind of super-vision (because of retinic impression). Luckily, I stopped doing that after a few days... now I'd be blind!

I think that there is a city inside you called the city of and then put your name there. The white blood cells are cops and the hypothalamus controls the body temp.. And when a virus gets in they make you sick and terrorize the city. I also beleive they celebrate your birthday all the time because it's important to them.

When I was a kid I thought that there was no way that I could throw up while going "poop". In my mind, I was making much needed room for the vomit by pooping and would no longer "need" to throw up.
