I always used to believe that if you become a fan of an X-man or some one of Buffy or summat, you would get their powers.I know it doesn't work.I tried it with Nightcrawler and Doyle.:(

i used to think that when you ate food it would go in your stomach and when you ate the rest it would fit back together just like a puzzle and then it would come out in that shape. i found out i was very wrong when i expected to find curly crap when i ate a cinnamon roll.

I used to believe that a little gnome lived in my tummy with a camp fire and a cupbored and that if i drank water it would put his fire out, so i would have to eat a chip with ketchup on the end ( looking like a match) to light it again. and if i didnt eat for ages, he would just get a chip out of the cupbored and eat it.

i used to believe that your butt was a hotdog bun and your poop was a burt hotdog.

i dont know why but i believed it for quite a while.

I used to believe that a light bulb would light up if I put it in my mouth. I guess this belief started when on Small Wonder (I forget what episode) Ted Lawson used Vicki the Robot to test a light bulb by putting it in her/its mouth.

I used to believe that when my mom said "Let's go to the Mattress Ball" (which meant for me to go to sleep) that I was really going to go to a Ball- and I insisted in putting on my finest attire... soon she said- "Tonight is pajama night at the Mattress Ball" !!!

I used to believe…

My mom always told me that if I played with fire I would pee in the bed... i am not quite sure why she said this, but apparently it has been in my family for generations and that's why I always opted out sitting by fires at night!

I used to believe that if I jumped high enough off of my grandfather's armchair, I'd fly. I soon stopped believing this, however, because the end result was always a head-first collision with the sofa.

you know how when you choke on your food people say it went down the wrong drain er whatever? well i used to believe that in my throat were two slides and there were little soldiers guarding each one and they told the food which one to go down. So when i choked they were slacking off. I can still see this image perfectly in my mind.

I used to think that when you waved to say "hello", you had your hand wide and waved it from side to side (like normal waving) and to say goodbye, you had to have your fingers together and wave your hand up and down. I never really wondered what would happen if you didn't...

I used to believe…

When I was little I slept for like a day and a half and had a weird dream that made me think i couldn't go to sleep or I'd never wake back up again.

I used to believe…

When I was younger, I somehow got it into my head that there were a whole bunch of little compartments in my stomach. I thought that there was one for every different kind of food that I ate. And I thought that there was alittle man inside of me who organized and guarded everything for me. I didn't realize it was wrong until I saw a picture of a human stomach, and there were no compatments. I even used to make sure not to mix foods and eat everything seprately so that the man would have an easier job.

I used to believe that your stomach had four compartments. Two for solid food and main meals and such. One for drinks. And one for dessert. This is how I figured I could always eat so much and still have room for dessert. Surprisingly enough my stuffed horse told me that it isn't true. I have to go now. I have a phsychiathrist appointment.

I used to believe…

When I was about four or so, I used to believe that my stomach was a hotel lobby, and all of the foods I ate that day were having a party! The apples and oranges were the hosts of the party, the banana was the old security guard, and the candy was the life of the party.

I used to believe…

When I was about three or four, i was quite the little trouble-maker. So, when I got into trouble, I would run into the back room, and close my eyes, thinking that this made me invisible. Oddly enough, it did get me out of trouble....

I used to believe…

When I heard that doctors had diagnosed people with cancer or any other illness, I thought that the doctor had given them a shot of it. It made me angry and confused to why a doctor would do that to someone.

when i was 5 years old i used to believe that girls can pee standing up like boys. in my house we had a regular toilet and a urinal. so i needed to pee so bad so i went to the urinal to try it out. it worked out okay until my cousin caught me and said girls are supposed to sit. even to this day i pee standing up over a toilet.
