I used to believe…

When I was only about 3, I thought that blood was yellow, because earlier
I had popped a blister and yellowish-clear stuff came out. I thought that you
peed out the old blood and kept the new in your body until it got too old,
and I was always afraid that if I peed for too long, all my new blood would
come out and I wouldn't have enough blood. I always held in a little bit,
just in case it was new blood. I believed this for about a week until I cut
myself and thought something was wrong with me, and I screamed to my mom, "MOMMY,MOMMY! my blood is red!
Am I gonna die?!!!" Heh heh. :P :D :)

I used to believe that when you had the hick-ups your heart grew...then one day in biology class someone had the hick-ups and the teacher asked us what happens then. I was so desperate to answer that he let me answer the question, when I said that your heart grows when you have the hick-ups the whole class started laughing. I still cant forgive my parents! Ps. I was in 8th grade at the time...

hall of fame

I used to believe that there were three pipes in your throat. One for food, one for drink, and one for breathing.

when i was around ... 4-6 i used to think when i drew a picture of a person then their eyes would watch me... i got pretty freaked out...lol

I used to believe…

When I was pretty young I never knew that girls had vaginas. I always thought that they pissed out of their butt and that whenever a man and a woman would have sex they'd use her but. I also thought that I came out that way. It wasn't until later that I finally asked how a girl pees.

I used to believe…

When my stomach would growl I actually believed it was some sort of strange stomach language. When I told this to my older brother, he found the perfect opportunity to mess with me. He told me that he knew stomach language and that he could translate for me.
So he'd make me lay down on my back and put his ear to my bare stomach. He would often get a concerned look on his face and claim my stomach was very upset. He would tell me demands that my stomach was making . . . more of this kinda food, or more of that kinda drink . . .
I would say I believed this until I was about 7 years old.

I would think that my mouth and digestive track was an amusment park ride and the bits of food were little people. I always wanted them to have the best ride so I would worry about how I ate each peice of food

I used to believe…

When I was about 4 years old, I noticed that my wee sometimes came out different colours: clear and yellow. Since I knew that I drink three types of drink (Orange, Lemon and Blackcurrant squash), it made sense that clear was Lemon and yellow was Orange... the trouble is, I was completely miffed as to where the pints of blackcurrant I drank disappeared to. Did they come out the other end? Did they get held inside... and if they did, what then? Would I explode or overflow. It was all quite harrowing for a confused little 4 year old.

I used to believe…

When I was little I asked my mom how are body moves she told me that little people know when I wont to move so thay move my bones whitch move my body.

I used to believe…

My mom had two cousins who convinced her that they could see farts. My mom could never find them so her cousins would draw pictures of them. The farts were perfect ovals and they were clear-ish and had smiley faces. It took her about 30 years to realize her cousins were lying.

I used to believe…

when i was little i thought people with big heads or big noses had cancer...

I used to believe…

When I was about 5 or 6, my mom would constantly remind us to check for ticks after we went hiking or else we'd get lyme disease. I was always so terrified of it, especially because for some reason I thought that getting lyme disease meant that guacamole would start pouring out of your eyes. Thankfully I never shared this with anybody, though, or else I think I would be institutionalized by now.

I use to have a pic of a unicorn w/ castles that floted in the air. I would think that when i fell asleep, the unicorn would jump out of the pic, and would pretect me from all the bad things :)

I used to believe…

One x-mass eve my brother and I were taking a bath together. This time he had crapped in the tub. Due to all of the bubbles It took some time for me to notice. Until it brushed me on my leg. I let out an awful scream and began crying hysterically. My mom and her friends rushed in to see what all the ruckus was. To make things better she dumped out her egg nog and retrieved "the log" with her Santa Claus mug.(the kind that is a molded 3-d
head shot of Santa). All of us have seen them........

Due to this my brother and I used to think all Santa mugs were "log retrievers" And would declair so openly at a strangers house who to had santa mugs.

Well, due to the immense joy that the incident brought to my brother, he made it a regular habit. To make me feel better she allowed the Santa mug to sit by the tub for almost a year as my "heroic retriever".

When my mother died I inherited the entire set of Santa mugs. We cannot figure out which one was my "hero". If I ever serve you egg nog in a Santa mug, it means a really do not like you! :)

I used to believe…

When we were very young, my brother and I were caught on multiple occasions sitting on the toilet together, Butt to Butt looking in opposite directions. When asked what we were doing, we exclaimed that we were trying to make our "doo doo's" meet into one "fat doo doo that would kill the smurfs". Do not ask as I have no idea....

I used to believe…

When I was a child I used to believe that people could fly (this was after watching Superman). When I jumped out of a tree, I realised that my arms weren't wrings and when I saw the ground coming closer I thought how stupid humans could be sometimes

I used to believe…

When i waz a little girl, i believed little men in cooking outfits and little swirly
black moustashes made my food into pee. They all stood in a long line with
a conveir belt, and the food would come down, and they in turn turned little peices
of food into pee. The last little man on the end waz a bad guy, and turned the
pee into the poop. I believed this until i learned about the digestion system in
the 5th grade.

When I was about 6 years old I accidently swallowed a shell casing for a 22 size bullet. My mother told me that if I fell down I would explode so my brother & sisters wouldn't play with me for a couple of days because they were afraid I'd explode.
