My grandfather would always eat dessert even if he had not finished his main course. He used to tell us that desserts went "into the pudding hole" so you would still have room for dessert even if you were full-up with your main course. I used to think your main courses and puddings went into separate stomachs.

When I was a little kid, I used to believe that food and drink would go down different tubes in your digestive system. The tubes separated somewhere between your neck and your stomach, and somehow food and drink knew which tube to go down. The food tube ended at your butt, and the drink tube ended at your penis.

I used to believe…

When I was a kid I thought women urinated out of their butts. I had no idea that it came out of anywhere else until I was 18 and I asked my girlfriend if she could fart while peeing. She was so appalled that I didn't know where they urinated from that she showed me in an anatomy book.

I used to believe…

When I contracted the chicken pox, I overheard my mom tell the doctor my rash hadn't come to a head yet. I took that to mean that little chicken heads would grow all over me!

I used to believe…

Growing up the youngest of four i needed all the good luck i could get and tried wishing on stars all the time. When that didn't work i decided i needed to find something else to wish on and when having breakfast one day i found one.
I decided that if you were the first person to open a jar of spread or butter and the first to use it that was good luck and you got to make a wish. Once i had decided this every chance i got i made sure i was the first to do this to make a wish.

Didn't help though..... i kept getting in trouble for opening new jars when then old ones weren't empty.

I used to believe, that the force actually existed, and would prance around the house trying to move household objects with my thoughts.

I used to believe…

As a child, on some hot summer nights while lying in bed, I would roll out of my body and float in the air. This ability seems to disappear when you grow up.

I used to believe…

When I was little I believed that when my foot fell asleep it really was sleeping and that I needed to wake it up, so I would run cold water on it and if that didn't worked I would turn some music on or make alot of noise to wake it up!

When I was six, I believed if I ate ice cream slowly I would have powers. I mean I would take a bite of chocolate and I would have powers...then I would taste the vanilla and all the magic went away...

I used to believe that my mom couldn't fart..For years you'd hear or smell something, and we'd immediately say "DaD! Stop being so disgusting" and he's just smile. Until one day it happend again, and the standard procedure ensued, and he gave us the most ghastly look, thats when we realised that it was mom, cos she had a smirk the size of Africa on her face...

I used to believe that I could control the wind. I'd whisper a direction, and how strong and wait to see if it happened. Obviously, this was most effective on windy days. To test my theory I once sent a really strong wind to the east and then spent all week feeling guilty when high winds and monsoons actually attacked South East Asia.

I used to think when women has just recently had children and they suffered from depression, that the term was post mortem depression and used it frequently.

I used to think that when you farted, it meant that you had to poop. I realized that this was a fallacy one day when i went to go poop about 20 times, and nothing came out. in case you're wondering, i had hotdogs, baked beans, and cole slaw the night before.

I used to believe…

When I was about 10 I was convinced I was a Ghostbuster. I was so eager to prove it that one day I went to school dressed in an old sweatsuit that I had converted into a "Ghostbuster suit". I had a laser made of paper towel rolls and a backpack which I completely ruined by drawing on the Ghostbusters logo in pemanent marker. I even had a ghost trap made of a kleenex box. When nobody believed me I got angry and proceeded to "zap" them all with my "gun". My teacher sent me home and my mom was not pleased. Especially about the backpack.
