As a young child, I was potty trained quite successfully, except for one slight problem: I never knew you were supposed to LIFT the cover of the toilet first.
"In, Not On," as my mum would tell me.
Then of course, there was the slight problem with me confusing the towels and the toilet paper. :/

My mum told me as a small child that it was bad to hold it in when I needed a wee, because this was how you got worms. Presumably her intention was to get me to go to the loo before long trips, etc, but it has resulted in an eternal guilty feeling when needing the toilet, that A-level Biology and a degree in Biochemisty has not managed to dispell. My mother, of course, denies all knowledge of this....

In elementary school I used to be starved for attention so if I was bored I would try to fart as loud as possible and everyone would laugh and pay attention to me. The more the teachers told me to stop the more I would want to fart. I found out if I ate lots of canned meat my farts would be loud and smelly and cause quite the commotion.

As a child I believed that the human body was one hollow canal and so whenever I ate anything, I tried to do so while standing in order to give the food free passage to my feet and I'd watch dilligently for the time when I'd be filled up to my neck so I could stop eating.

when i was a little kid, my mom told me that every time i got the hiccups i'd grow an inch. i kinda like the idea because it seems kids get 'em more than grown-ups and that's why kids grow up so fast, but adults stop growing.

When I was a kid, I asked my dad what color burps were and he said 'blurple'. I believed him until I was about 13 years old. I was shocked that my father messed with my head like that.
