You know the rays of light that you can see when you look at a lightbulb and squint your eyes? Well, when I was little I used to think those beams of light were the light's powers and if I held my hands up to it, their power/energy would be transfered to me. I stopped doing this when my aunt asked me what I was doing in front of everyone. xD

i got ear infections a lot from swimming, i believed they were caused by little monsters that swam into your ears and gnawed at the inside with its teeth

when I was 5 whenever I blew my nose my mom would say "blow it out to sea!" so I always thought that there was an island in my nose, and the snot was water. So if I didn't blow my nose often enough that the island would flood and all the people would die!! Yeah, I was one weird kid.

When I was younger, I would sit at the top of the stairs in the middle of the night, listening to my dad snore. I always thought he had a minature lawnmower in his throat (which was obviously why he snored so loud) that would turn on when he was asleep and shave his face.

...What an odd child I was.

I used to believe that everybody had different colored pee. Mine was yellow. My brother told me his pee was green. And when I went over to my grandmother's house, her toilet water was blue, so Ithought that was her pee.

Why'd I get stuck with yellow pee?! I wished I had black pee. That would have been so cool!

I used to think that whatever you consumed would automatically turn to pee, then depending on how long you waited to go to the bathroom the pee would change into diarrhea, then to soft pooh, then to hard pooh, You didn't want to let it get to hard pooh... that was bad

When I was little, one of my favorite movies was Kiki's Delivery Service. I used to think I was a witch just like Kiki, and I kept trying to fly on a broom. I thought it didn't work because my powers hadn't developed yet.

After I heard about dog whistles, I tried to see how high I could make my voice go. To my surprise, I could go up to a certain pitch and suddenly I couldn't go any higher- I thought I could make sound that was too high for a human to hear. I wen't around bragging about not needing dog whistles, and I didn't stop until I realized how stupid I must seem, based on peoples reactions.

I believed that when I was in the shower and I pressed really hard against my eyes for ages with my fists that when I opened my eyes I could briefly see into the "other realm" where there were Ghosts and such.

Unfortunatly I never saw any Ghosts in my bathroom and by the time I had ran out of the bathroom to see if there were Ghosts in any other part of the house my eyes had returned to normal. I'm not sure why I never tried doing that outside of the shower.

When I was about 6 I used to believe that clouds were a collection of everyone's farts around the world and that when people farted too much this would cause big rain clouds to form and then it would rain. For a few years I remember being terrified of rain because I believed it to be "fart water" and I would always cry and have my dad carry me under his umbrella so I wouldn't get any on me. - I was a very strange child.

I used to think that only girls got their temperatures taken rectally because girls (ie, moms) were allowed to see other girls' tushies but not boys' tushies. I was the youngest of three girls and their were no boys in the house. One time, I saw my friend's brother with a thermometer on top of a jar of vaseline in his room when he was sick, and she told me that both boys and girls got their temperatures taken in their tushies.

I use to think that when you lay your head on your pillow side ways on your ear, there is a little person or silhouette of yourself walking along underneath your hear all alone looking for something. But after all it is the sound of your heart beat.

I used to believe…

When I was younger, about 5-8 years old, I believed anything that I thought, day dreamed, or make something in my head, that it would show up in a thought bubble for everyone to see what I was thinking.

I used to believe that in the middle of the Donna Summer hit " love to love you baby", where she would make moaney sex noises, she had a tummy ache

I used to believe I could walk on air if I didn't look down. Cartoon characters would run off of cliff and hang in the air until they looked down. I climbed on a chair, looked straight ahead and walked off. I learned I needed to fight my instinct to look down. After the second time my mom kept an eye on me to see why I kept hurting myself. She caught me doing it a third time.

I used to believe…

When I was little I believed there were creatures/people of some sort (kinda like the builders from Fraggle Rock) that lived inside of me and made my body functional. Every time I would eat I would picture my chewed up food going down a shoot and landing on a conveyer belt where it would be divided. Same with them being in my eyes and all over the rest of me. So when I was sick I thought maybe they were dying.

I used to think that if I fell down I would get amnesia. So anytime I "fell", which was usually a fake fall, I would quickly say my name, address, etc. to make sure I didn't have amnesia
