I used to think that when people had chemotherapy, they had to make a salon appointment and they would wash the person's hair with a strong and toxic shampoo and conditioner so it would blast off their head and leave them bald. At least that's less gross than all the blood stuff in hospital.

I know this sounds really gross, but I used to think that when you had your tonsils out, the doctors would actually cure your throat open, because I wondered how they would be able to reach them so far down when putting the equipment through your mouth!

When I was younger, I used to believe my friend and me have a secret powerand and I wanted discovery them.

I used to think I had magical sleeping powers because of the way I would fall asleep on the sofa, and wake up in bed a while later. Then I realized it was just my parents carrying me, so I couldn't really teleport myself in a dream.

I used to believe…

When I was a child, I thought that when I made a wish I should cross my fingers and close my eyes so that all the bad energy goes away and my wish can be fulfilled

I used to think that the word blurb was a noise that people made when being sick. Bluuuggghhh.

I used to think that if a baby was born with an ear infection, it's mother would hold it upside down and tickle it, like some bizarre way of curing it.

I thought "evacuate" meant "to vomit" because in the sequel to 'Nanny McPhee' (called Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang), a character throws up and another character refers to it as an "evacuation".

I used to be hyperaware of the sound of my pulse beating against my ear when I'd lay my head against my pillow at night. I thought it was the sound of my bed floating on a cloud, pace by pace closer to dreamland. If my bed arrived at its destination before I fell asleep, I'd be trapped in dreamland forever even when awake. Luckily, I could bring myself back to my room and restart the journey if I opened my eyes before the trip was complete.

I thought that 'clapping' was just ordinary, stationary clapping, and that 'a round of applause' was clapping whilst moving your hands in a circular movement.

BONUS: I thought that 'round of applause' was 'round of a claws'

I used to believe those gel capsule pills were actually made out of plastic and that taking them was pointless because you would poop the pills out whole without them ever opening in your stomach to let the medicine out.

I used to believe that if I ate candies in the morning my stomach was going to explode

I used to believe that if I jumped off the
picnic table, flapped my arms, and really
concentrated, that I could fly.

I used to believe…

That Deja Vu was a dream you had or you predicting the future. This means the next dream could possibly be the future. When I was in elementary school I found out my siblings and friends also had this power. We were like “oh my gosh, you have prophetic powers too!”

I used to believe that we could be in a coma and none of this was real. No Earth, no me, no families, no friends, no significant others, no animals, no plants, not anything. And when we woke up we were something else. We grieved for the family that never was and try to get away from the real family. But we die within a week of waking up. (I was and still am strange)

That when I dreamed at night, it was because a fog was hovering over my head. White forg for a good dream, black fog for a bad dream
