I used to believe…

When i was 12, i was very scared of people when they threw up. I was told that bathroms that people barfed in were bad to into, and the barf would come out of the toilet or or the shower, and i avoided bathrooms that people puked in for a long time. When my best friend spent the weekend with me, we ate some chinese food, and she had the salmon, and in the morning, she went to the bathroom, and well, threw up. she told me, and i didnt go there for a year.

Back with a was a really little kid, I used to believe that if I fart in my pants, the gas would stay there go back up my butt and cause me to fart over and over. So I used to pull down my pants and underwear whenever I farted. Made for some embarrassing times...

I used to believe that a boy's balls and penis was for holding his pee. When his balls were full the pee filled his penis and made it big. I thought that because my brothers was big in the morning, when he woke up, but after he went to the bathroom it was small again

My brother came up to me once and said, "Rachie, when does your booger-maker stop making boogers?" He thought that once you became an adult your booger-maker working.

I believed that I would see my poop again!
Everytime I went number 2 i would wait awhile before I flushed because I would talk to it then when I flushed I would say " Bye Bye Poopies See You Tommorrow!' I even sent some of my moms earrings with them for a present.
One time I had gone to the bathroom and didnt flush because i didnt want to say goodbye to it yet but my mom flushed it for me and for 2 days i wouldnt talk to her i was so mad.

I used to think that I could pee standing up just like a boy could. I tried once...let's just say that there was a big mess to clean up after that.

While playing a game of Catergories one day ( you have catergories and a letter of alphabet and you had find something for each) I was sittting beside my mums friend who had a wierd sense of humour! One of the catergories was "Body Parts" and the letter was "T" - I was only 8 and couldn't come up with anything so my mums friend "helped" me!

Well at the end of the round we all had to call out what we had written down- it came to me and proudly said "testicals" of course the room erupted but then the helpful friend asked " Where are testicals Terri?"
You can imagine the laughter when i pointed to my throat!

I used to think that I would never stop growing, and that eventually my parents would have to take out the roof and build a higher one because I'd be coming out the top of the house.

When thinking on how my parents seemed to have stopped growing some time ago, I decided that they just hadn't tried hard enough.

I used to believe…

When my sister and I were little, we took the expression "Go to sleep" literally. We thought that when we would go to bed, the bed would become a car and take us to a place called sleep. I remember we laid awake one night talking about what it was like when our bed would take us there and what it would be like. I believe we had a water bed at the time, and when you rolled over, it moved. It was cool.

I used to believe…

One day when I was still pretty young, my mom's friend brought her two sons over to my house to play. I was walking down the hallway and saw one boy in the bathroom peeing. He was holding something in his hand, and the only logical conclusion I could draw was that he unrolled his belly button (he had an outie) and that was how boys pee'd. I was pretty glad I didn't pee from my belly button!

I believed that if you farted and lit a match, there would be an explosion. I tried and it didn't work :(

I used to believe…

When I got a bad throat, I thought it is going to be like this forever now. So every 5 minutes I tried coughing, and felt disappointed and sad each time.

I used to believe…

When I was little I used to believe that if you swallowed a whole (soap) bubble you could float. Needless to say it never worked for me (the bubbles always bursted before I could swallow them ;) )

I used to believe…

We had a golden retriever who farted constantly in his sleep. I asked my dad why it was doing that and he said: "It's because his skin is too tight, each time he closes his eyes, his butt hole opes and lets out gas!"

I used to believe that babies pood out of their belly button.....it wasn't until i was like 12 that i realized it was their umbilical cord drying up....not poo

I used to believe that I could control the wind. I'm not sure, but I think it was because someone told me everyone has a special talent in life that only they can do. It must have been a hot day when I wished for the wind to blow and coincidentally it did. From then on until about age 11, I believed I controlled it. When it didn't work, it was because I was overworking my powers, and they needed rest.
Incidently, my boyfriend has a birthmark on his arm which he thought was in the shape of a cloud, so of course he thought that meant he could control clouds or some such nonsense. (Mine is better).
